   Installing PBA:It is best to install Directx 7a or higher and reboot system
 before installing Game to insure  directx is installed properly.Install Game,
 Then the PBA2001_1007.exe Patch which fixes IP mode.Then  Reboot once more.
 Note: you can get the patch from this site also.
 
 
  It is best to go into game options and turn off mapping and shadow
 For this will help game play.You also may need to free some resources at file run
 type msconfig.Then select selective startup-startup tab only 4 things need to be checked 
 ScanRegistry, loadpowerprofile system tray and your antivirus program all others uncheck
 then reboot.You can always go back and select normal start up which will put it back like 
 it was.


  Go online into Game, Select Network then Services-Sign up for Playing at Bethsoft
 Go to Network , go to Bethsoft.net, go Play, enter name and password, click ok-
 We play in the ROOKIE Area.
 
  To Play:(If you create room)type in Ladder Name,when other person(s)join room Click Ready.
 -If the person you are playing doesnt join you within a few minutes click leave, cancel,
 Refresh,Rookies then create once more,then done since your room name will still be there.
 (sometime helps other player see room).Click ready  then start select Change Game Type, 
 for regular or team games.Change team for team 1 or 2,select change center for lane, or
 change pin to select pro pins or white pins select change frames to select 1 -10 frames
 selecting any frames other then 10 the last 2 frames will be like the 9th and 10th.so like
 if a tied game was done you could go back into game and do a 2 frame rolloff.Select Human
 Amateur then select your player.On certain tournaments you'll be asked to select a pro player
 Human pro or if a computer controlled player select computer pro or computer amateur.Click
 ready and when other person clicks their ready -click start to start game.

  To Play:(If you join a room)select rookies, when you see the person's room name you are going 
 to play appear click it.You may also need to refresh this screen now and then.They will select 
 iether regular or team play select your player click ready.
  
  Also in the event Bethsoft Server is Down we will use IP Mode Play. The File Winipcfg.exe located 
 in the Windows folder-  will give you your Ip address,to give to the player who will join
 your game(and always give IP Address  through Private Message. You  may want to create an 
 icon on the desktop for it. Or while in the Yahoo Club Room  Scroll  to the top of chat 
 and you will see your IP address.To play by IP go into game select Network Game,TCP/IP(Internet)
 enter name Create(if you are the host) Show Sessions(if you join game)enter IP Address click ok.

Create player:
new game, exhibition, choose lane click lane to change, click done
Add player, create player,use the chart above to make a player
using pro face or whatever you wish,click done and save.

We Play  PBATOUR2001  and BRUNSWICK on Same Ladder 
to get your ip address put file winipcfg.exe( Using Win98)-located in 
the windows folder,on your desktop.XP  goto  Network connections 
to play online: as the host click network load bowler,
host internet game, type in session name  click done press
bowl when it lights up.
to join: network, load bowler,join internet game, click ip 
then type in the ip given to you click done will search for
that game.
The File Bowling.exe located on the Info page, is the newest Bowling.exe  
just an enhanced  game file.
that is used to  play  the  game  so make an icon for that file on the desktop
